I have no hair stylist certificate from international beauty school but I am a barber at home for my little 2 years old boy. I won’t say I am really professional but the cut I give him is decent enough that I can bring him out the same day after the hair cut. I do hope the more I do his hair cut, the better I will get.
But it will not be as good as those professional hair stylists definitely. Hey, after all they do get their Cosmetology certificates from a beauty school like International Beauty School at James College Mason City, Iowa. I wish I can attend the school but it is too far for me. Besides Cosmetology, they also offer Massage Therapy Training. For that, I can send my husband to learn. What I didn’t know is a certified and licensed Massage Therapist will have to complete at least 650 hours course then undertake the National Massage Therapy Examination. If you think you want to become a massage therapist or a cosmetologist, remember to check out the International Beauty School at James College. The application form is available online. They even will help you find housing if needed.

Isn’t this view beautiful? I have this as my wallpaper on my laptop now. This is the best night view I ever have on KLCC Twin Tower. I took it using my Canon SD630 digital camera without a tripod. I rested my hands on the window to make sure the picture turn out clear and not blurry. And it did! This is actually the view from the second bedroom in apartment we rented at PNB Darby Park.

My brother has planned to visit and work in Europe after his graduation. He had wanted to apply for any accounting position that was offered online through, AIESEC, the world’s largest student organization, as a student transfer to UK. However, there was a technical problem with his online application and his information and resume were available online for the prospective employers to view. Therefore, his plan was in a halt for a few months. And in early April, he decided to come here for a visit while waiting for any response from AEISEC regarding the technical problem that they have been working to fix.
Although his plan didn’t work out as he wanted, I think one day, he still can visit UK as a vacation by himself or with his friends. I am guessing he may want to stop by the city of Manchester, since he is a big soccer fan. Since it will be the first time he is visiting, I think I will recommend him the Manchester Directory where he will be able to find information and reviews on restaurants, shops, car rentals, entertainments and more. With this directory, he can make his own itinerary prior to his trip. He can make reservations or buy tickets to any event earlier even before he gets there. I think there is one place that he as a soccer fan must visit while in Manchester - the soccer stadium.

This picture was taken from PNB Darby Park service apartment on the 35th floor. We reserved a two bedrooms apartment (Unit# 3512) for a one night stay for our Kee family. It was a very nice experience. The view is magnificent. Definitely worth the RM23 upgrade. If I get to wake up to this view every morning … it will be heavenly. Although there are many constructions surrounding this building, the noise hardly bothered us, at least we didn’t notice them much.

We usually suggest for anyone is visiting us from abroad to shop at the Factory Outlet Malls. In fact we will be bringing my brother to several of them this weekend. Prices are always so much lower than what you can get from the retail stores. It is a big saving if you are buying for the family. Especially for people that live outside America, they find the price is so much cheaper than they can ever get from their own country.
I am pretty familiar with the Factory outlets around my area. But once is outside Los Angeles, don’t ask me. You can go check out eFactory Outlets. As my brother will be traveling to the East Coast mid of May to visit friend, he may want to look into some New York factory outlet stores that may be close to where his friend is living. You don’t have to be an internet expert to use this site. Just click on the USA map on the states you will be visiting and a list of Factory outlet malls will pop up on your next screen.

One of my father’s friends always visits Houston because he has a business there. He flies in here from Malaysia once or twice a year.
He would stop in Los Angeles for a few days to visit his home here in the Beverly Hills and then fly down to Houston to attend to his business. If I remember correctly, he is dealing with the ‘teak’ furnishing business, importing from Malaysia and neighboring countries. When I met him last time, he told me about a beautiful botanical garden in Houston area which is so serene and peaceful which he spent a day when he was down in Houston. And if I have the chance or if I am in the vicinity, I should go and visit this place called Shangri La Gardens and Nature Center. It is about 110 miles and a little less than 2 hours drive from Houston.
I love botanical gardens and we always visit the one by our home the South Bay Botanical Garden. But when I was viewing the Shangri La Gardens and Nature Center’s website, I can tell you immediately this place offers more than just a botanical garden. You can find an array of mammals, epiphytes, plants, reptiles, amphibians, birds, insects, and more. This place also offers different programs for children to enjoy and learn about our nature.
The park address is:
Shangri La Gardens and Nature Center
2111 West Park Avenue
Orange, Texas 77630
Admission fee for adult (18-64) is $6, seniors (65 and above) is $5, children (4-12) is $4, students (13-17) with ID is $5 and toddler under 4 is FREE.
They even offer school tour program for free between Tuesday and Friday, reservation is required.
If you are interested to learn more about this beautiful botanical garden, visit their website at www.shangrilagardens.org. This is our world, so be kind to it. Conserve and save the world so it will be a better place for generations to come.
