Moments in My Life

Today after lunch, I told him before nap time I would change his long sleeves long pants PJ into short sleeves t-shirt and shorts.  At around 12:45pm, he told me he wanted to nap.  I was shocked!  This was the first time he told me.  Usually I was the one who drag him inside the room for nap time. 

I told him to clean and wash up then I would get him changed.  I helped him put on his shorts and short sleeves t-shirt.  Then we read two books - Fire Station and Trucks.  He picked a CD he wanted to listen, put it in the player.  I took him to the bathroom.  He walked back to his bedroom and climbed onto his bed by himself.  Then he said, “Oi kam pei.” (Want blanket).  I put his blanket on and I walked out the room.  No more screaming, “Mommy mommy this,” or “Mommy mommy that.”  Amazing!
