Mommy: WHY are you crying?
Brandon: *giving mama a blank look*
Mommy: What happened? Why are you crying?
Brandon: *crying*
Mommy: Stop crying. TELL ME what happened? WHY are you crying?
Brandon: What happened? Why are you crying?
Ya, he repeated my sentence because I told him to TELL ME what happened? WHY are you crying?. He still doesn’t know the concept of WHY yet at this time. I am trying to teach him by starting his answer by ‘because … ‘. Hopefully he will get it soon.
