Happy Chinese New Year!!! I cooked a little Nin-Gao (shown on your picture) a few nights ago. It was so yummy… pan-fried with olive oil. My first time reheating Nin-Gao! LOL. Never bought it before. I also bought Tong Yuen. I hope to eat these two items on Monday. Do you know if we are supposed to eat them on Sunday? I don’t want to do dishes! LOL.
Gong Hey Fatt Choy!
I guess you can eat them anytime. hehehe … since we don’t really follow any of the traditions here. As for nin gao, we were supposed to eat it on the first day but since my MIL already made it for us two days ago, I started eating it immediately as it was still fresh thus no need to reheat. I had like 1/4 of the nin gao as you seen in the picture on the Wed.
