Sushi Boy’s Sushi
Both of us like sushi a lot. Now my son also likes sushi because it is made of rice. He can take the rice part alright but not the sashimi. Sure there are many good sushi restaurants nearby, but we usually get to go save paying the tips. One fast food place that is good is Sushi Boy. This is a franchise. We used to visit the outlet a lot but due to the price increase, we seldom go now.
One day we didn’t know what to eat for lunch. As we were passing by this Sushi Boy at Hawthorne Blvd, I said, “Let’s have sushi!”. We made a U-turn and head inside. Apparently the restaurant has just opened. It was 11:05am and they open at 11am. We orderred a Mini Chicken Bowl for Brandon and a Osaka Nigiri that comes two shrimps, one tuna, two salmon plus 8 spicy tuna rolls. Our total came out to be $14.45 (tax included).

We have absolutely nothing in comparison here. In Halifax.. they refused to make chawanmushi for me.. because it was lunch time..and only one chef.. and chawanmushi.. isn’t in the menu..
Envy you..!!

i had sushi boy’s teriyaki chicken bowl before and i didn’t like it. that was a few years ago at the one in Rolling Hills Plaza. a few months ago, i had their seafood-sushi-bowl (because it was on sale for that month). it was pretty good. i want to try other sushi. they delivered their menu to my apartment. comparing the prices, the sushi at my nearest Marukai actually cost less. it also tastes pretty good. similar to sushi boy’s. it also opens earlier! 10am. (I went to the one on Hawthorne Blvd one time at 9:30am and was very disappointed that it wasn’t open.) if you ever swing by my place, try it out. =) it’s on hawthorne blvd too. it’s across from Kids Concept and Pet Smart.
