Do you ever dream what you will do with the money if you ever win a lottery? The California Super Lotto winning jackpot for the next drawing is $44 millions. If I win this lottery, how will I use the money? I know probably half of the winning will go to the Internal Revenue Services and probably only nett $22 millions or less. That is still a lot of money. I will probably invest half into long term saving accounts and spend the other half.
The first thing I will do is to hire a large private airplane and fly to Hawaii with my family and immediate family members from my Hubby’s side. May be I will pay for my sister, brother and my father’s tickets to LA and we can all go to Hawaii together. Traveling like a celebrity is always in my dream. I will book a private jet from Airplane Charter Arkansas Wing Aviation Charter Services. They have many different sizes of aircrafts and can carry as many as 18 passengers. These aircrafts have a very roomy and comfortable interior and most with leather seats. Best of all, we can fly on our own time and don’t have to bother about the long lines at the check-in counters or boarding room. This is the way to go first class.

I don’t believe this. Vien had earlier warned me not to talk much about the progress of potty training but I wanted not to believe her. And as I uploaded this previous post earlier today, I gave a second thought about it and was planning to put a *hope I won’t jinx this* at the end of the post but ended up taking it out.
And guess what happened? Brandon pooped in his underwear this afternoon. He pooped then only he told us that he needed to go Oh See. Hubby was actually sitting in front of him but I guess it was too late for him to notice. We took him into the bedroom to change. I told him try not to move much but he was kicking his legs. And while pulling down his underwear, his right leg accidentally stepped on it. Oops. I had to clean the mess in his undewear then gave him a shower to clean his mess. Man … I shouldn’t be blogging about this topic anymore until I am really sure that he 100% done with it. BTW, we were out of underwear and I had to put him in a diaper. *roll eyes*

So which brand and model of digital camera do you have? I have a few digital cameras. The very first digital camera we have ever owned was an Olympus D-220L. Can you guess how many pictures it can store? It can only take up to 20 pictures with the highest resolution (640 x 480).
Currently, we have a Canon XTi Rebel DSLR, a Canon P&S SD450, and another Canon P&S SD630. Previously I have owned a Casio P&S Exilim model but that one was sold as used to a friend in Malaysia in 2005. Later when I returned to US, I bought a Canon P&S SD110. I find the colors are more vivid on Canon digital cameras. I haven’t own any Nikon P&S or DSLR but have heard many good reviews on them. May be I will get a Nikon P&S in near future to test out the picture quality.
If you are thinking of investing in one of these digital cameras, you have to read a lot of reviews. I did my research online before deciding which but you must make sure you drop by 42nd Street Photo to check out their competitive pricing. There are 3 ways you can place your order at 42ndPhoto dot com. You can order online, order through their toll free phone number or you can shop at their store. For a limited time, they are offering FREE cleaning kit when you place your order. Please check their website for more details on this offer.

Brandon is officially not wearing anymore diapers. Whenever we are home, he wears the boy’s underwear/brief, even for night time. Only when we go out, I let him put on a pull-up, just in case.
He has learnt to let us know when he needs to go to the bathroom when we are outside our home. But when we are at home, he only let us knows that he needs shee shee when he is on his bed preparing for his sleep at night. That, he can asks to go for 3 times and 2 out of 3 are false alarm. During the daytime, I am the one whom initiate for him to go potty.
He will remain dry if I bring him to potty once around 12:30 to 1am at night. So far he had only once wet his underwear for his night time. I only found out when I was bringing him for potty in the morning that his pants and underwear were slightly wet but I couldn’t find any wet spot on the bed. Also another time when we were at a Chinese grocery store in Monterey Park and was leaving the parking area, he asked to go for potty. Daddy told him to hold in or if really had to go, just pee into the pull-up. Brandon fell asleep about 10 minutes later and when we got home, his pull-up was still dry. We quickly took him to potty and he fill almost half the bowl. It is exciting and proud for me to see this milestone of him as I had started training him for this since a long long time ago. Well, Brandon … you are almost there … soon you will only wear underwear/brief, even when we are going out and around.
With him not wearing anymore diapers, I have leftovers. I have a big box of Especially for Baby size 5 and a Jumbo pack of Huggies Supreme Size 5 too. I have to find the receipts if I can and to bring them to the store to exchange for pull-ups. If not then I will probably need to give them away.

My brother has planned to visit and work in Europe after his graduation. He had wanted to apply for any accounting position that was offered online through, AIESEC, the world’s largest student organization, as a student transfer to UK. However, there was a technical problem with his online application and his information and resume were available online for the prospective employers to view. Therefore, his plan was in a halt for a few months. And in early April, he decided to come here for a visit while waiting for any response from AEISEC regarding the technical problem that they have been working to fix.
Although his plan didn’t work out as he wanted, I think one day, he still can visit UK as a vacation by himself or with his friends. I am guessing he may want to stop by the city of Manchester, since he is a big soccer fan. Since it will be the first time he is visiting, I think I will recommend him the Manchester Directory where he will be able to find information and reviews on restaurants, shops, car rentals, entertainments and more. With this directory, he can make his own itinerary prior to his trip. He can make reservations or buy tickets to any event earlier even before he gets there. I think there is one place that he as a soccer fan must visit while in Manchester - the soccer stadium.

After Heroes marathon for 5 days … sometimes 3-5 episods a day … I am done with Season 1. I didn’t bother to start with Season 2 because I know how they made the ending to each episod so exciting that I will have to continue and keep watching the next episod everytime.
Yesterday, Hubby’s off Friday, I was busy arranging for some buyers to view my listing in North Hollywood. Today, I will have to drive up there to take some pictures for the BPO as he can’t make it to this only available appointment with the tenants. So I am actually doing a favor for him but he will get paid for this instead of me. He even asked if I can find any comparables for him. I told him none as I couldn’t find any. Or else, I will be really doing about 80% of the job for him and all he needs to do is to type the report and submit to the bank. Oh ya, I forgot to mention, this property is actually a short sale.

My SIL has just joined Netflix and I am able to watch Heroes online, using the instant play on their website, for free. My hubby has watched all of the available episods while I was away and he highly recommend me to watch it. Well, I had nothing much to do at night while waiting to take Brandon to potty around 1230am, so I started watching it last Saturday. My gosh … this show is so addicting. Luckily I don’t have to wait week by week for the next episods. I just click and watch and click and watch. I was able to watch 2-3 episods most of the nights. So ‘gun cheung‘. Now I wish I didn’t start watching this series.

We had a family gathering on June 7th at my aunt’s house in TTDI. It was a grand event for us as it was a very long time ago we had such an event. We didn’t get to have everyone to be in the picture as some of our cousins couldn’t make it on that day. But it is one of the most complete family portraits we have.
Initially, I’ve suggested that each family coordinates a different color top, but that suggestion didn’t get to everyone. It is difficult to get an agreement when you have a big group of people that doesn’t participate in group thread/email. At the end, only my family (at least we tried) to wear WHITE color top with jeans. May be next time we can have custom t-shirts for each of us and it make the family portrait looks even better.
Here is the picture of our Kee Family: My sister and Ethan, my brother Joo Yee, Me and Brandon.

This picture was taken from PNB Darby Park service apartment on the 35th floor. We reserved a two bedrooms apartment (Unit# 3512) for a one night stay for our Kee family. It was a very nice experience. The view is magnificent. Definitely worth the RM23 upgrade. If I get to wake up to this view every morning … it will be heavenly. Although there are many constructions surrounding this building, the noise hardly bothered us, at least we didn’t notice them much.

Our recent trip to Malaysia is the second time my son met Ah-Cho (great-grandma in Hokkien). She is actually my aunt’s mother and we call her che-mm-poh (grandma in-law in Hokkien). She is a very nice person to talk to as she has many many stories to share with us. And once she starts talking, there is nothing that can stop her. A lot of times I couldn’t sit and listen to all the ending as I either had to chase after or attend to my son. And my son loves her. Every morning when he woke up, he called her while walking down the stairs. And if he saw her in the living room watching the tv later in the afternoon, he would call her, “Ah-Cho! Ah-Cho! … “
Ah-Cho is a very healthy woman up till 7 months ago. That evening, she was visiting a relative staying in a high rise secured building. When she was leaving the luxury condominium, the automatic sliding door closed on her and she fell down on the floor. She injured badly in the fall and was confined on the bed for the first few months.
After many physical therapies and Chinese medcine, she is now able to walk with the help of a walking stick. She can’t stand for too long as her back will hurt. How nice if my aunt’s house has a walkin tub in the bathroom. Ah-Cho will be able to enjoy a nice and therapeutic bath by herself. For now she only takes quick shower with the help from the maid. I am sure my son misses her.
Anyway, here are two pictures of my cheeky son and Ah-Cho together.
