Cheap Realiable Web Hosting Service

Which web hosting service provider do I have? I have Blue Host and I signed up with them last June for a 2 years prepaid with the monthly rate of $6.95 with no set up fee and a free domain name. If I were to sign up for 1 year prepaid, it would have cost me $7.95 a month. By signing up for 2 years, it saved me $12 a year as well as the time I need to spend to renew it again after 1 year. Now I only need to worry about renewing my web hosting service next year. So far, I like them a lot. They have given me 100% confident that their company does put their customers first. What I like best is they have a Live Chat. All my questions were answered promptly whether it was during the wee hours when I tried to solve problems when I set up my domain initially. I think this will be my priority … able to have immediate technical or billing support anytime I needed.

Before you sign up for anything, you want to make sure the company has the features you are looking for. If you are looking to set up a domain with web hosting, drop by the Top 10 Web Hosting website. Blue Host is listed as second on the list. Monster Host is on the first. As you can see from the list, Monster Host only charges $4.95 a month with unlimited space, unlimited bandwidth and unlimited emails. But to get this price, you would need to sign up through the link provided at Top 10 Web Hosting. I do notice that Monster Host also has a Live Chat. May be I will move to them next year when my contract with BlueHost is up.  It will save me another $2 per month which will be $24 a year for hosting my domains.

How about this past week?

Backdated post.

What did we do with Tau Fu this past week?  Nothing as exciting because we stayed home most of the days.

4/28 - Went to my office to pick up a fax from my office while Brandon and Tau Fu waiting in the car for a little while.  Had rice at home in the evening.

4/29 - Tau Fu followed us to Toddler’s class and then we went to Farmers Market.  Bought a tub of salsa for Tau Fu to try.  At night we

4/30 - Had home cooked New York steak with canned green beans for dinner.

5/1 - Went jalan-jalan at BBRU with Tau Fu in the morning.

5/2 - Hubby’s off Friday.  I went to the Realtor’s Fair in the morning at Marriot Hotel in Torrance.  They went to Target, then we went to eat Korean BBQ at Garden Buffet in Cerritos.  That meal kept up well fed for the whole day.  Then we went to Downtown Disney whereby Hubby and Tau Fu went to watch Iron Man at AMC Theater while me and Brandon went into the parks to walk around for more than 2 hours.  Movie finished at around 3:45pm, we met up and went home together.

5/3 - This morning we took a drive up to Venice Beach, somewhere I haven’t been for a longest time.  It is a tourist attraction with a lot of unusual street vendors along the beach.  We drove along PCH coastal way to come back home and bought 3 medium 3 toppings Papa John’s pizza for lunch + dinner.

5/4 - Went up to Rodeo Drive.  Had Mexican lunch at Cozy Mel’s in Manhattan Beach.

Slow DSL Internet

Is it my computer or it is my internet service? It is slow. Either this is caused by my old classic computer or my DSL internet service. I have the basic DSL which is the cheapest package my phone service has.

I am paying $19.99 a month for this basic DSL package. And my one year contract will be coming up in June. I believe there after the service provider will charge me $29.99 a month for the basic if I do not renew my contract. But renewing contract is not easy either. It depends what type of promotion they have when my contract is up. If they do not have a good promotion, I may also be stuck with the $29.99 a month. A $10 increase a month is a lot to me. May be I can go back to free dialup connections through NetZero. LOL.

If I can’t even stand the speed of DSL, I don’t think dial up will be much faster. I should compare and check prices for cable internet or even satellite internet. But in the end, I will probably go back with my DSL service as cable and satellite monthly rate is much higher than DSL. I just hope they will have a special deal next month so I can renew it right before my package expires.
