Can you believe that we are just 2 months away from Mother’s Day?  This will be my third Mother’s Day.  I remember when I was back in Malaysia, we used to celebrate both Mother’s Day as a family by going out to a nice restaurant.  And I would surprise my mom and dad with a cake plus another gift.  Usually I had to plan ahead and buy the gift a month or two before the day as I didn’t want my mom to suspect anything.

Daylight Saving starts early this year.  Which is good, as we will get more daylight from now on.  This morning when we woke up, we forwarded all our clocks in the house an hour ahead.  So now we are only 15 hours behind KL time instead of 16 hours like yesterday. 

Before, our DST started on the first Sunday of April and now it is moved to 2nd Sunday of March.  We have 3 extra weeks of DST.
