A short break would be nice

Let me tell you, I always looking forward for any short breaks I can get. Whether is a short break in York or weekend breaks in Cornwall, I will take anything!  Unfortunately, we don’t have any short vacation plan coming up soon. How I only wish. To be able to spend a few days away from home is so nice and relaxing.

As you know, I am a stay-at-home mom and most of my time I am at home. I even work from home.  So I don’t do much outside the home on regular basis except for the toddler’s class every Tuesday.  It is not too healthy staying in door all the time.  A short break away from home is something that helps me to rejuvenate my energy.

Although it is a lot of work packing for the family but yet, I enjoy it to the last bit.  The last two short trips, one to San Francisco (to meet up with a blogger friend and attending her little girl’s 2nd birthday bash) and the latest one to Las Vegas in December were considered short but good trips.  Hopefully, my hubby will read this post and may be he will surprise me with an unplanned trip.

What is with all the screaming?

Middle of the night, boy started crying for nothing.  Was trying to pacify him and calm him down but he wouldn’t stop.  Daddy carried him around the house, yet he didn’t stop.  The more we did it, the louder the cries or scream.  When we said, “Stop,” he also repeated it and said “Stop!” but he just kept continue crying.  No stopping at all.  Furthermore, I had to wake up early the next morning to visit a client up in North Hollywood.  *sigh*  He knows when I need to be working and for sure the day before my work, he will give me a hard time.

He doesn’t let me work to earn my own income.  Does this mean he will take care of me when I grow old?  I hope so!
