Victim of Identity Theft

Victim of Identity Theft

A few years ago my cousin in-law was hit with identity theft. She didn’t find out until it was too late when someone from Idaho uses her identity to apply for a credit card and another person uses her social security to open a bank account in another state. It was a mess in her credit report. She had to visit the police station numerous times to get the problem identified and corrected. She was then told she needed to contact and file a report with the police in the other states that her identity was stolen. It was such a hassle.

Living in America, your credit history is so important that you need it almost all the time. You will need it to apply for mortgage, credit cards, apartment rental and sometimes even for work they would check your credit history. I believe everyone should protect themselves against identity theft with LifeLock. Everyone including, any individuals, students, children, families and also victims of identity theft.
