Spaghetti with Mushroom & Garlic

posted in Food & Recipe |

Today I have another kids’ friendly recipe. It is Spaghetti with Mushroom & Garlic Sauce.  Here, I get fresh button mushrooms from the store so no need to get those in cans.  Usually get them when they are on sale for $0.99/8oz box.

You need: Fresh button mushroom (4oz), 2 cloves minced garlic, spagetti and a pot of water, 1 tblsp cooking wine (I used ginger cooking wine).

  1. Boil water for spaghetti.   When cooked, drained and set aside the pasta.
  2. Wash mushroom.
  3. Remove the mushroom stems.
  4. Dice the mushroom as small as you want.
  5. Mince garlic.

  6. Heat oil.  Dump in the garlic, when fragrant, dump in the diced mushrooms. Stir a little.
  7. Add in cooking wine when you see the mushroom sizzling in your pan.  Stir around the mushrooms and also to get the alcohol evaporates.
  8. Add seasoning (salt, sugar, pepper) if needed.
  9. Let the mushroom simmer a little while in the sauce.
  10. Add the cooked spaghetti, stir around to get sauce covers the pasta.
  11. Use kitchen utility scissors to cut spaghetti.  Serve it to the my little boss.

  12. He approved!  Had a second plate too.

This is a very simple recipe! Just garlic and mushrooms. You taste nice or not? I will try it when I get some mushrooms. Thanks!

Put more garlic, will taste good. Remember to add some salt. Plain doesn’t taste nice.

I want to try next too (^^ )!~ I love garlic cuz, hahaha! And also the Edamame, mom loves it while we’re at the restaurant!~

Then use a lot of chopped up garlic. Don’t use those already deep fried worh. You need to use the fresh ones so the sauce will be garlicKY!.
